Health Minister Affirms Importance of Boosting Cooperation with Iran in Health Sector

Southern Governor Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa yesterday vowed support to programmes aimed at promoting IT security and spreading green awareness.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Wednesday it secured 2.2 billion Kuwaiti dinars in net profits in the fiscal year (FY) 2011-2012, up by KD 183 million or 9.1 percent from the previous fiscal year. The KPC Managing Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs Ali Al-Hajeri attributed in a press release the excellent financial results to the distinguished efforts made by the high-skilled national cadres of the corporation who enjoy long experience.

The Omani government is carrying out the technical studies for the railway project that will be linking the Sultanate with other GCC countries, Oman's Transport and Communications Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Shipping Company, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, has said.
